No Can't, No Newbie, Success at Last!

By: Randy - The Hermit - Baustert

Being in the right frame of mind is more important then all the information you have acquired. There is a leader in industry by the name of Henry Ford who had very little formal education, but what he did have was a mindset that created a desire in him that practically forced him to achieve his goals. One of his most quoted sayings is, "Whether you think you can or think you can't you are right."

His drive and determination took him from a non-educated worker to a leader in industry. This is the same type of mindset you need to have to succeed. This is a mindset that doesn't say, can't!

Can't is a word that can stop you in your tracks. As soon as you accept that you can't do something then it is the truth, you can't. Don't let the word can't dissuade you from your goals. Think of can't like this:

C= Conveniently.

A= Accepting.

N= Negative.

T= Thoughts

Whenever you say you can't do something, you are conveniently accepting negative thoughts. There is always a way to achieve your goals.

If you don't know how to do something that doesn't mean you can't do it.

If it hasn't been done before, that doesn't mean it can't be done.

All you need to do to achieve the things you think you can't do is to create a mindset that gives you a burning desire to accomplish you goals. You can do anything you just have to figure out how.

Besides can't there is another term you should avoid and that is newbie. "I am a newbie", is probably the most commonly used excuse that I hear.

You might think that being a newbie isn't an excuse but instead is the truth but that isn't the way it usually works. Just about the only time you hear some one say they are a newbie is when they are using it as an excuse. For example:

Question: What is your website?

Answer: I don't have one I am a newbie.

Question: What is your specialty?

Answer: I don't have one I am a newbie.

Question: Have you started building your list yet?

Answer: No, I am a newbie.

Read those questions and read those answers and you will see why I say it is an excuse. If you are in the internet marketing field you have probably heard those questions and that answer before. The answer doesn't explain anything, it just works as an excuse for people that haven't done anything yet. Yes, I did refer to myself as a newbie, way back when, but I realize now that it was an excuse that slowed down my progress to my goals.

Taking action is the only difference between a newbie and a non-newbie. If you want to reach your goals you can't do it as a newbie so take some action no matter how small and move toward your goals.
