Once You've Started, There Is No Road Back. I was thinking today, for whatever reason, how disheartening it is when people begin a journey, whatever that journey is, and they never get to the end of it. Now, it isn't so disheartening because they fell short of a goal, but because they will probably end up worse off than they were when they started. How Do You Know Your Goals Have Been Reached? Many of us begin our journeys and set off in a random direction at whim. We don't know where we're going, or exactly what we want, and we don't quite know how we'll know we have it once we do.
